‘Hero 420’—the new generation Bangladeshi model-turned-actress Nusraat Faria-starrer second film has already seen its Kolkata release recently, the joint production (Bangladesh’s Jazz Multimedia and Eskay Movies of Kalkata) film was struggling for its release in Bangladesh due to three definite objections raised by the preview committee of Bangladesh Film Censor Board. As a result, there was much doubt and uncertainty about its release in local theatres as per schedule on February 19. DhakaLive has news that the film received green signal from the censor board on Monday. After receiving the approval, the film is now set to be released this Friday, informed chairman of Jazz Multimedia Abdul Aziz.
Bangladesh’s Nusraat Faria will be seen in a new look in this film. Beside the striking presence of Faria, celebrated Bollywood actress Ria Sen will also be seen playing a lead role in the film. Both the actress will play opposite Om—a popular actor in the Kolkata film industry. The film has been directed by Bangladesh’s Saikat Nasir and Sujit Mandal from Kolkata. The teaser for the film has been released on YouTube and just last week, the soundtrack of the film saw its release. In addition, the film is being widely promoted on popular platforms such as Facebook.
Nusraat Faria was elated following the news of the film’s release and she expressed, “I was really down and upset regarding the earlier complications surrounding the film’s release. Then after hearing that it has been sorted and the film will finally see its release, I could not contain my excitement. I am delighted that the viewers will get to see me in a new light. I have a feeling it will be a good film. ” To note, the film was released in Kolkata on February 12. The film was scheduled to be released a week later in Bangladesh. However, some objections from the preview committee gave rise to uncertainty about the film’s release. After receiving the approval from the censor board, the film will now be released as per schedule.
