Air Chief Abu Esrar takes over
Newly appointed Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Abu Esrar, BBP, ndc, acsc took over the command of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) yesterday. He succeeded outgoing Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari, BBP, ndu, psc, says a press release. A handing/taking over ceremony was held at Air Headquarters in the afternoon. Newly appointed Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Abu Esrar took over the command of Bangladesh Air Force from the outgoing Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari at a ceremony at Chief of Air Staff’s secretariat. Principal Staff Officers along with other senior officers of Air Headquarters were present during the occasion.
Earlier, in the morning Air Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari paid homage to the members of Armed Forces martyred during the war of liberation in 1971 by laying floral wreath at Shikha Anirban.
