Audience-admired actress Pori Moni has taken a new step in her life’s journey as the actress recently announced news of her engagement. The announcement came through a Facebook post which she posted after working all day for the shooting of Giasuddin Selim’s ‘Swapnajal’. According to sources, she worked on the shooting of the film all day on Saturday until midnight. Then right after midnight, she posted a picture of one hand on top of another, wearing rings, with the caption ‘Itihas Kore Rakbo Bhalobasa, Kotha Dilam.’
That post certainly created a buzz in the entertainment world. The actress herself added to the mystery of the situation and said, “I myself do not know how it happened so suddenly. I guess love truly is a mystery. I experienced that in real life, and that is why, I completed the engagement.”
Then came the part about the identity of the future groom, and adding further mystery, she said, “I will not reveal who the man is. That will definitely spoil the surprise. All I will say is that he is not associated with the entertainment world; rather, he is a businessman. “
She then mentioned that maybe she might one day post an actual picture with the man with whom she got supposedly engaged with. Director of ‘Swapnajal’, Giasuddin Selim however said, “She worked for the shooting of my film until midnight. Then she made that post. If there was any news, signs or even the slightest hint of something as major as her getting engaged, I would certainly get an idea. I think she is just doing all this out of fun.” Another source associated with the film, who wished to remain anonymous, said, “I think this is a publicity stunt.” As a response to these comments, the actress stated, “It really does not matter who says what. What these people are saying, I will take those words as blessings. I completed my engagement. There is no doubt about that and it is 100% true.”
