Vehicular movement from Science Laboratory to Kalabagan on Mirpur Road was disrupted yesterday as HSC examinees of the Dhaka City College blocked the street in front of their campus to demand a change in their examination venue, reports UNB. Police said up to 400 students poured onto the street from their campus around 1:00 pm and blocked the street, disrupting the transport movement in the area. Because of the disruptions people, especially patients in many hospitals in the area, were suffering, they said. Police were trying to ease the sufferings by diverting vehicles but cars and buses got stuck because of huge traffic flow. The official said HSC examinees were agitating demanding a change to their designated examination venue Residential Model School and College in Mohammadpur for what they said it is far from their campus.
