A minor boy was killed as a speedy Pajero Jeep hit him on the road of Hatirjheel yesterday, reports UNB. The ill-fitted boy was identified as Md Raihan, 7, a class I student of Advance New Model School of Rampura area. Son of Md Liton, a push pushcart driver, Raihan had been living with his parents at a rented residence at Ulan Road of Rampura. The incident took place at around 3:30 pm when Raihan went to the street of Hatirhjeel near his residence. A speedy jeep hit him and fled from the scene, said sources at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
