Nine rescued boys return home

Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Narsingdi unit, handed over rescued nine teenage illegal migrants from human traffickers to their guardians in Narsingdi town yesterday. Additional Deputy Commissioner Suraiya Begum received the boys. The rescued boys are Fahad  Mia, 17, of  Gashirdia village, Mehedi Hasan, 16, of the same village, Mohsin, 17, of Dupattar village, Nahid, 16, of Gashirdia village, Rusel, 17, of Noukaghata village, Khokan Mia, 17, of the same village in Shibpur upazila, Suman, 17, of Balursair village, Firoj Mia, 16, Sohel, 15, of Alokbali in sadar upazila. They were among Bangladeshis who were rescued along with 126 others at sea by Myanmar police recently.
They were going to Malaysia illegally by boat. Earlier, Bang ladesh Red Crescent Society received them from Myanmar and handed over to Cox’s Bazar Judicial Magistrate Court. The Red Crescent Society handed over the nine youths to their guardians as per the court order.
