Crimson Cup Coffee, a famous brand of America, opened its new outlet in the city’s Dhanmondi area. The inaugural ceremony was held on Friday with the presence of actor Ananta Jalil, actress Barsha, filmmaker Gazi Mazharul Anwar, singer Diti Anwar, Columbus Coffee Shop director Rehanur Rahman, vice-president Steve Belles, chairman Mirza Abdul Khaled, managing director Mohaimin Mostafa, Sarfaraj Anwar Upal, Tarek Rafi Bhuiyan and Ayesha Rawshan Bhuiyan, among others.
On the occasion of inaugural ceremony, Nayak Raj Razzak along with his wife and his son Samrat reached the coffee shop, where he cut a cake to celebrate his 75th birthday. Coffee lovers can have the taste of famous Crimson Cup Coffee of Latin America. This outlet is the second franchisee coffee shop in Bangladesh. Besides coffee, there are arrangements for desserts like pastries in the shop. Customers can taste coffee in three types - Espresso, Over Ice and Frozen. Besides tasting coffee here, customers can also take beans at home and there are arrangements to provide beans in packets. The entire shop is covered under a Wi-Fi zone.
Actor Ananta Jalil said, “I always experienced the coffee whenever I go America. I feel proud to launch it in our country.”
To note, the first outlet of Crimson Cup Coffee was inaugurated at House No. 25, Road No 11, Banani on May 22, which was served at Columbus Coffee Shop at Banani. This is the second outlet which is located in Dhanmondi. Branches of the shop will soon be opened at Uttara and Mirpur in Dhaka, and also in Chittagong, Sylhet and Cox’s Bazar, officials informed.
The coffee house will remain open from 8:30am till midnight.
