The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will hold an emergency meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of its Member States at the OIC headquarters in Jeddah on Thursday, reports UNB. The meeting has been called for by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to discuss the 'repercussions' of the breaking into the Saudi Embassy in Tehran and the Saudi Consulate General in Mashhad, according to the OIC. Bangladesh Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali is likely to attend the meeting, Foreign Ministry sources said. OIC Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani had received a letter from Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir in which he called for holding the meeting, and the majority of the Member States have approved it.
