ColoursFM 101.6, one of the most popular FM radio stations in the country, celebrated their second anniversary on January 10. The radio station’s advisors, colleagues, guests and listeners took part in the celebrations on that day. Geetiara Safiya Choudhury, Chairman and Managing Director of Adcomm Ltd. cut the cake on the occasion as the chief guest. Nazim Farhan Choudhury, Chief Executive Officer of ColoursFM, was present at the ceremony. Listeners, participants of different shows, guests, hosts, performers, musicians, well-wishers and the entire ColoursFM family were also present to celebrate at the station. Nazim Farhan Choudhury said that he had always dreamt of setting up a radio station which will stand out from the rest and have a unique theme to it. Since 1994 he started working with his ideas and finally made his dreams go on the airwaves on January 10, 2014, by launching ColoursFM 101.6. He especially mentioned Raquib MD Fakhrul, the Managing Director of ColoursFM, the board of advisors, the ColoursFM team and the listeners without whom the dream would not be a reality. To note, Tune Bangladesh Limited launched its radio station ColoursFM 101.6 on January 10 in 2014.  ColoursFM 101.6 offers a wide variety of programs that can be related by diverse listeners, especially focusing to promote women empowerment in every sector of the society. The station has seen a great response from their well-wishers and gathered healthy popularity from the listeners in the past two years.
