KHULNA: Shahajalal Hossain Sujon and Asaduzzaman Russel have been made president and general secretary respectively of Khulna City unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) at the second session of biannual council at Khulna Circuit House conference room on Monday night. Central BCL president Bodiuzzaman Sohag has announced the newly selected committee after two-hour discussion among the president and general secretary contestants of two posts.
The BCL president asked the newly selected city unit president and general secretary to form a full pledged committee very soon. He also asked some former BCL leaders to assist them to form the committee. They are Faruk Hassan Hitlu, Shafiqur Rahman Palash and Dev Dulal Barai Bappi. Organising secretary of Awami League (AL) BM Mozammel Hossain, MP, central AL leader and former state minister of Labour and Employment Begum Monnuzam Sufian, MP, Ex-Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque, MP and Mizanur Rahman Mizan, MP, among others, were present during the second session.
