Popular singer Kornia will be performing in a stage show abroad for the first time as she will be performing in Malaysia. DhakaLive has news that the singer will be heading off to Malaysia with an eight-member team at the end of this month. She will be performing songs in a corporate show in Malaysia on January 29. She will then be returning on February 1. Kornia expressed her enthusiasm, “As an artiste, with the admiration and love from the fans, I am going to go to Malaysia to perform. This is certainly a matter of great joy for me. I am very excited and hope that I get to present my songs properly to the ausience.” To note, Kornia performed in a corporate programme supervised by journalist Dewan Habib on January 7 at Biam Auditorium in the capital’s Eskaton area. She also has a busy schedule ahead as she will be performing on stage shows in Dhaka on January 11, 12 and 15, and then in Mymensingh and Gazipur on January 21 and the next day in Gazipur and finally in Kushtia on January 23. She is also currently organising the work for her solo album. The two songs from her album titled ‘Hero’ and ‘Banglar Dhol’ received immense praise. The lyrics of the songs have been written by Arefin Rumi and Anurap Aich, with music arrangement by Arefin Rumi. The music video of ‘Banglar Dhol’ will be directed by Prasun Rahman.
