RANGPUR: A newly built mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has been inaugurated at DC’s moor in the city on Thursday. Zila Parishad Administrator and Acting President of district unit of Awami League (AL) Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed at a ceremony formally inaugurated the mural. The mural, made at the cost of Tk 14 crore. Renowned sculpture Anik Reza, son of Professor Rezaul Huq, a resident of Rangpur, designed the mural. Local elites, engineers of the zila parishad, local leaders of the Awami League and journalists were present.
