Jhenidah: A Juba Dal leader, who was injured in an attack allegedly by his brothers over a land dispute at Radhanagar village in Sadar upazila on Monday morning, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the capital early yesterday, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Nasir Uddin Biswas, 41, president of ward-5 Juba Dal of Saganna union and an inhabitant of Radhanagar village. Sub-inspector Badiur Rahman, in-charge of Duck Bungalow police camp in Sadar upazila, said Nasir locked into an altercation with his brothers Abdur Rashid, Lutfar Rahman and Abdul Wahab around 11am on Monday over the share of land. At one stage, they stabbed Nasir with a sharp weapon and hit him in the head, leaving him critically injured. He was taken to Sadar Hospital from where he was shifted to the DMCH following deterioration of his condition. However, the Juba Dal leader succumbed to his injuries around 2am yesterday. His brothers went into hiding after the incident.
