Popular actor Shipon Mitra will be playing a challenging role of a village boatman in the film ‘Dolil’, directed by Chotku Ahmed, who also wrote the screenplay. He will be acting opposite Tania Brishti in the film. Shooting of the film will take place in February in different locations in Pubail and Barisal.
The actor shared his thoughts about the film,”I will be playing the role of a village boatman named Suruj. This is the first time that I will be playing such a role and it is a challenging one. The preparation for this type of role is different. I hope the audience will appreciate and see a different side of me through this film.”
To note, Shipon Mitra began his journey in film through ‘Desha The Leader’, directed by Saikat Nasir and produced by Jazz Multimedia. He also acted in Safiuddin Safi’s ‘Big Brother’ and Alvi Ahmed’s ‘U-Turn’, along with ‘Premer Kajol’, directed by Zakir Hussain Raju.
