Police recovered the body of missing vice-president of Patuakhali district Shramik Dal from ward no 2 of Amtali municipality yesterday, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Mizanur Rahman Babu Khandaker, 38, son of Azhar Uddin, hailing from Kalikapur Arambag of Pirojpur district and a contractor. A group of construction workers spotted Mizanur’s body in an under-construction building of local trader Atahar Ali in the area and informed police around 7am, said Pulok Chandra Roy, officer-in-charge of Amtali Police Station. Police recovered the body and identified him as Mizanur from his ID card. There was an injury mark in the neck of Mizanur and he might has been killed over previous enmity, added the OC.
