Popular dance-artiste-actress Nadia Ahmed has always been passionate about dancing and that is why, in addition to acting, she has always focused on her passion by always performing in special programmes both in Dhaka and outside Dhaka. On the second day of the New Year, she will be performing dance in a programme in Takshaal in Gazipur. Likhon and Nadia’s dance roupe ‘Nrittyokotha’ will be there as well. In addition, from the second week of next year, she will be completing the work for a previous drama serial. Recently, Nadia began the work for four new drama serials, which are Sokal Ahmed’s ‘Ekti Babui Pakhir Basha’, Anjan Aich’s ‘Megher Pore Megh Jomeche’, Farid’s ‘Pagla Hawar Din’and SA Huque’s Alik’s ‘Ayna Ghor.’ The drama serials have been written by Kazi Shahedul Islam, Anjan Aich, Subhashish Sinha and Masum Aziz.  Nadia spoke about her current work, “Dancing and acting, both are my passion. However, my fondness towards dancing is more. My identity is that of a dancer first, then an actress. I am very grateful to all those who have given me the opportunity to work in their projects. I always act in such a way that my character shines out. The viewers will get to see four different types of roles in the new drama serials.”
To note, Nadia recently acted in a tele-drama opposite Zahid Hasan. On December 26, she performed dance for her own school  Viqarunnisa Noon School and College after 14 long years. Nadia-acted drama serials ‘Daag’, ‘Jiboner Aligali’, ‘Lorai’, ‘Bakshabandi’, ‘Somrat’, ‘Poron Kotha’, ‘Gonthobbho Niruddesh’ are regularly being aired on various television channels.  l
