Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Banga-bandhu's younger daughter Sheikh Rehana yesterday extended heartiest greetings to versatile writer Syed Shamsul Haque by sending bouquets on the occasion of his 80th birthday, reports BSS. On behalf of Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana, PM's Special Assistant Mahbubul Haque Shakil handed over the flower bouquets to Haque at his Gulshan residence in the capital. Receiving the bouquets, Haque expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana. He said Bangladesh is advancing by holding the hand of Sheikh Hasina, the beacon house of the Bangalees. On behalf of Bangabandhu's daughters, the PM's special assistant told Haque: "They (Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana) wish you and your pen alive for 100 years." Haque's wife Anwara Syed Haque, son Ditiya Haque, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and other family members were present on the occasion.
