Awami League has raised objections against ten local election observers for, what the party says, having political affiliation of these organisations. The organisations are Adhikar, Manabik Sahajjo Sangstha, Manabadhikar Somonnoy Parishad, Democracy Watch, Khan Foundation, Manabadhikar O Samaj Unnayan Sangstha, Light House, Rights Jessore, Jagorani Chakra Foundation and National Youth Forum. EC sources said Awami League sent a letter to the EC in this regard.  AL joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif said, “We have raised the objections against thouse organisations because they have political affiliation.”
