Several bilateral instruments (agreement/MoU) for cooperation in different fields are expected to be signed between Bangladesh and Bahrain during Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali’s visit to the Gulf state from December 21-23, a foreign ministry press release said yesterday. The release, however, did not provide any details with regards to the bilateral instruments.
Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali already left the capital yesterday on the three-day official visit at the invitation of his Bahraini counterpart Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. During the visit, Ali will have bilateral talks with the Bahraini foreign minister.
He is also expected to have meetings with other Bahraini leaders/ dignitaries.
The foreign minister, accompanied by senior officials of the foreign ministry, is also expected to meet with Bangladeshi expatriates residing in Bahrain and exchange views with them.
