Police arrested a fugitive convict from his house at Bepari Dangi village in Char Bhadrason upazila of the district on Monday. The arrestee is Fazal Mondal ( 3o), son of Mozaher Mondal of the village. Assistant sub Inspector (A S I) of Char Bhadrason police station Md Moniruzzaman said on secret information police raided the house of Fazal Mondal around 12 noon and arrested Fazal from there. In a case filed against him with Mirpur police station in Dhaka, Fazal was recently jailed for one year in absentia,  said ASI.
