Sadar police arrested Abdul Wahab alias Wahab Jallad (slaughterer), 80, from his home of Fulshwar village under sadar upazila of the district early yesterday.
Abdul Wahab used to slaughter freedom fighters and independence loving people according to the order of Razakar chief of the then Narail subdivision Maulana Solaiman in 1971.
 Valiant Freedom Fighter Sharif Humayun Kabir said during the War of Liberation Wahab  along with Omar Jallad  implemented the order of Razakar Commander at the Judge Court Ghat by the river Chitra. For his heinous act of 1971 he has been being called as ‘Jallad’. OC of Sadar thana Subhas Biswas said, he has been arrested in attack on police case.
