Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club have been drawn in the Group E of the AFC Cup 2016 along with Tampines Rovers of Singapore, Selangor FA of Malaysia and Ceres La Salle FC of Philippines champions while the group stage draw was held yesterday in Kuala Lumpur.  
Selangor FA of Malaysia is the most experienced team in the Group E, who have already played 14 times in the AFC Cup competition and for Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club it would be the first experience to play in this level.
