Juicy kabab at ‘Fork Knife’

Shaba Binte Amin

Reshmi chicken kabab is one of my favourite chicken dishes. Quite recently, I visited a place named ‘Fork Knife’, located in Uttara, to try their reshmi kabab. It was a decent dish and a great meal experience.
The kabab was served smoking hot. The chicken was cooked very well. The meat was juicy, but the even distribution of spices and herbs wasn’t achieved as well as it could be during the marinating process. But still, it tasted really great. The kabab was served with 7-8 pieces of naan and a tangy and delicious salad.
You will find a giant fork and a giant knife at the entrance of the restaurant. The interior is decorated with stones, raw wooden shafts and glass letterings bearing names of random cities and neighbourhoods. The flooring features wood, granular stones and tiles with different messages. The cotton fabric ceiling with defused lighting looks like clouds floating in the sky, which creates a uniquely cool environment. It is a great place to sit back and relax and have a few bites.
