The Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR), government of India, offered scholarships to meritorious Bangladeshi nationals under the three scholarship schemes for the academic session 2016-17 to pursue various courses in India at the Under Graduate, Post Graduate and PhD level, except in Medicine, says a press release. The schemes are: Bangladesh Scholarship Scheme, India Scholarship Scheme and Commonwealth Scholarship Scheme.
Candidates are required to have proficiency in English and should have secured minimum 60 per cent marks or GPA 3 out of GPA 5 in the qualifying examination.  Application forms for these scholarships along with detailed information / instructions regarding the same may be seen and downloaded from the following link to the website of the High Commission of India, Dhaka: http://www.hcidhaka.gov.in/pages.php?id=1648 Candidates should download and fill (typed and not handwritten), the application form, affix scanned copy of photo, sign (scan of signatures by hand) and e-mail the same as a pdf document along with relevant attachments at any of the following e-mail addresses: i.    High Commission of India, Dhaka : [email protected] ii.    Asst.
