In a see-saw battle that was full of drama and entertainment, Shoaib Malik emerged out as eventual hero, playing a cameo (34 not out) which effectively sealed Comilla Victorians’ six-wicket win over Chittagong Vikings. Following the Dilshan-Kayes collision issue, which gave Comilla a crucial five penalty runs, Victorians seemed to be on course of an easy victory but a late burst of Mohammad Amir suddenly tilted the match towards Vikings and raised a hope of their victory. Victorians was scared once again when Bilwal Bhatti gave a wicket in the first ball of the last over as Victorians needed seven runs. Much to their rejoice, it was a no-ball but a match which stored so many dramas in almost every over, nothing was ensured until the winning-six, hit by Malik which brought an end to the eventful finish of the match and the Chittagong phase of BPL. Even though he wasn’t the highest scorer of the match, his audacious winning-six in the match made an eternal impact.
