Speakers at a post rally discussion here yesterday underlined the need for establishing a friendly atmosphere for the disabled to ensure a dignified position for them in society,
reports BSS.
They are not disable, they are differently able, they should be given special care to bring them into the mainstream of development as they are equally talented like other people of the society, they said.
They were addressing a discussion meeting organized by District Administration and Department of Social Welfare at local Circuit house here in observance of International Day for the disabled.
The speakers said the disadvantaged people should be extended cooperation instead of mercy so that they could bring welfare for the country and the nation as well.
