Prova, Richi and Aparna— three popular actresses in the country’s showbiz—will be seen together appearing in an upcoming drama serial titled ‘Talk of the Town’. The drama serial is scripted by Shafiqur Rahman Shantenu and is being directed by Rahmatullah Tuhin. DhakaLive has news about the drama serial that its shooting has begun in a shooting house in the capitals’ Uttara area. However, the audience-admired three artistes are playing as three sisters in any drama serial for the first time. Richi will appear as a social worker named Shimu, while Prova as Jhuma—a Tagore admirer and Aparna as Rimu—a tom boy.
Richi said about working in the drama serial, “‘Talk of the Town’ is a situational comedy drama, which has a wonderful story. I believe one thing that if a director gives proper concentration to his own work besides ensuring proper delivery of the works from the artistes, then it always ends to be a good work ultimately. At the same time, the audiences also show their interest to watch the production. Rahamatullah Tuhin is always very serious about his works.”
Prova said, “The character, which I am playing in the drama serial that fits with my imagination. I am trying my best to portray the character appropriately.” Aparna shared the experience of the work, “This is for the first time that I am working with a tom boy get up. So that, I am trying to bring a change in my get up as much as possible. I hope that the audience will appreciate the work.” The drama serial will go on air on a satellite TV channel shortly, director Rahmatullah Tuhin informed DhakaLive.
