Popular actor Apurba and Lux star-actress Aparna, who are no strangers to each other on the screen as the duo has already appeared together in several tele-dramas and tele-films , will be seen together once again in an Eid special drama titled ‘Jochonay Ajana Poth Chola’. The drama is written and directed by Mominul Haque. Regarding acting alongside Apurba, Aparna said, “Even before the 2006 Lux competition, I was a huge fan of Apurba. Back then he had that ‘heroism’ in him and even today he still has that. He is the kind of actor who is always cooperative and supportive to his co-artistes. I hope that our performance together in this upcoming drama will be appreciated by the viewers.”
Apurba shared his thoughts on working with Aparna yet again, “Aparna has taken her acting to such a level that any director will have full faith towards putting her in any type of role. I myself am a great admirer of her work. I hope the audience will admire our upcoming drama.”
The duo mainly began working together through a tele-drama directed by Shamim Ara Baby. They last appeared in Mabrur Rashid Bannah-directed drama titled ‘My Life.’ To note, Aparna-acted film ‘Sutapar Thikana’ was released on the Mother’s Day and her impressive performance was highly admired by the viewers. Success continued to follow the actress as she recently was awarded with a National Film Award for best supporting role (Female) in ‘Mrittika Maya’ directed by Gazi Rakayet.
Meanwhile, Apurba-acted first film titled ‘Gangster Returns’ will see its release during the coming Eid. l
