Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-7) arrested four alleged gunrunners along with a pistol, a one-shooter gun, two revolvers and 15 round of bullets from Lichubagan area under Rangunia police station of Chittagong yesterday. The arrestees were identified as Kazi Md Mostafa Jalil, 27, Md Manjur Hossain, 27, Sabuj Barua, 29, and Sekandar, 25, all are local resident of Rangunia upazila of Chittagong.  “Acting on tip-off we have arrested four arms traders at around 1:30pm. They are involved with arms trading in Hill tracts area, they also supplied arms in Chittagong city, we have nabbed them with the arms while they were trading arms here,” said, Lt Col Miftha Uddin Ahmed, commanding officer of Rab-7.
