On November 26, Lucky Air held the opening ceremony of the Kunming-Sihanoukville (Cambodia) route at Kunming Changshui International Airport. Mr. Sao Khoradin, Cambodi-an Consul General in Kunming, said at the ceremony that Lucky Air’s Kunming-Sihanoukville route will promote economic and cultural exchanges between Cambodia and Yunnan Province, especially regarding tour-ism exchanges and cooperation. He hoped that this route will take more Chinese tourists to the award-winning beaches in Sihanoukville and more Cambodian tourists to Yunnan. A Boeing 737-800 will make the flight on Thursdays and Sundays. The opening of the route has brought the aviation and tourism cooperation between Yunnan and Cambodia to a new stage and has enriched the aviation network connecting Kunming with South and Southeast Asia. As is learnt, Lucky Air will actively involve itself in the “Belt and Road” construction. On the basis of the southwest China aviation market and the multi-base operation model, it will build an integrated air route network centring on Kunming, covering the entire country and connecting East Asia, South Asia and Southeast Asia.
