Benapole: A young man was hacked by his younger brother over a trifling matter at Baroachnra village here on Friday night, reports UNB.
The injured was identified as Zia,30, a resident of the village.
Quoting locals, police said an altercation ensued between Zia and his younger brother Shariful centering a mobile phone at night.
At one stage, Shariful hacked Zia with sharp weapon indiscriminately, leaving him critically               injured.
Zia was first admitted to Sharsha Upazila Health Complex from where he was later shifted to Jessore Medical College Hospital as his condition deteriorated.
