At least three perople were killed and three others were injured in two road accidents in Narsingdi and Jamalpur districts yesterday morning. Of the deceased, two were killed in Narsingdi and one in Jamalpur. In Narisngdi, two drivers were killed and three others were injured when two trucks faced head on collision near Shilmandi area in Sadar upazila on Dhaka Sylhet highway yesterday morning. The deceased were identified as truck driver Farid Mia, 30, Truck driver and  Jolhas 42 of Dhaka truck driver.
Police said   a Madhabdi-bound sand loaded truck from Narsingdi collided with a Bhairab-bound truck loaded with iron rods. Two drivers died on the spot and three others were injured. Local people rescued the injured persons and sent them to Narsingdi sadar hospital. The bodies and sent  to  sadar hospital morgue for autopsy. A case was filed with Narsingdi sadar thana. In Jamalpur, an old man was killed when his wrapper got entangled with the wheel of an easy-bike on Jamalpur -Mymenshingh road in Jamalpur sadar upazila yesterday morning. The victim was identified as Golam Ali, 60, of Chitholia village in sadar upazila. Police said Golam Ali was going Ghoradhap by an easy bike. When the easy bike reached Chokidarbari area his wrapper got entangled with the wheel of the running easy bike and he fell down on road. He died on the spot.
