Bangladesh Army has donated Tk 25 crore to the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund to expedite the government’s steps taken to fight coronavirus. Apart from one-day salary of all army personnel, Bangladesh Army Welfare Trust, Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory Ltd, Bangladesh Diesel Plant Ltd and Trust Bank Ltd made contributions to this, said an ISPR press release yesterday. Besides, Bangladesh Navy donated Tk 4.50 crore to the PM’s fund, it added.
