The cabinet secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam will instruct the high officials in the field especially the divisional commissioners, divisional directors of the health department and the deputy inspectors general (DIGs) of police today (Monday) through videoconference on their preparedness for new coronavirous.

The cabinet secretary will also ask them to work together with coordination at their respective areas today at about 10.30 am to check the spread of coronavirous, sources in the cabinet division said. During the videoconference, the cabinet secretary will also know the requirement of the field officials on their preparedness and also advise them, the sources added.

In the digital conference, secretary of health services division, senior secretary of public security division and the secretary (coordination) of cabinet division would be attended. Sources said that the cabinet secretary will hold the videoconference as per the instruction of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
