A music video of a new patriotic song titled ‘Bangladesh’ has been released under the banner of Ajob Records on the occasion of Independence Day. The music video was unveiled on the YouTube channel of Ajob records on March 25, a day before the national day.

Written and tuned by Ketan Sheikh, the musical arrangement of the song is done by singer-musician Joy Shahriar.

Six popular singers, namely Joy Shahriar, Ronti Das, Borno Chakroborty, Abanti Sithi, Tumpa Khan and Ketan Sheikh have lent their vocals to the song.

The music video of the song is directed by Borno Chakroborty under the banner of Aajob Karkhana.

About the song, Ketan Sheikh said, “Every time, whenever we sing a patriotic song, we sing all ageless songs of this genre. There are a very few songs created by our generation. From this point of view, we thought we should come up with a new song. Our song ‘Bangladesh’ is the result of our thirst for creating new patriotic song.”

Composer and singer Joy Shahriar said, “We are going through a very difficult time. I request everyone to stay at home. And during this period of isolation, good songs, movies and books be the companion of all. We wish our song ‘Bangladesh’ also to be the part of good company.”

“Our new song ‘Bangladesh’ is the expression of our love and homage to all the freedom fighters of Bangladesh on the Independence Day,” Joy Shahriar added.

Alongside the YouTube channel of Ajob Records, the song is also available on four mobile music platforms of the country.
