A Delta Medical College and Hospital's doctor, who treated the Tolarbagh coronavirus patient who died earlier on Saturday, has tested positive with the virus yesterday. The 30-year-old doctor was emergency medical officer of the hospital.
Bangladesh Doctors' Foundation's Chief Administrator, Dr Nirupom Das said, “The report of his infection arrived yesterday. He is currently in home quarantine in Basabo area in the capital and soon he will be taken to Kuwait-Bangladesh Friendship Hospital. He is suffering from breathing spasm."
Earlier, four doctors, 12 nurses and three other supporting staff of the medical college were sent to home quarantine as they treated a coronavirus patient, who died at the hospital on March 20.
