Director of Planning and Development division of University Grant Commission (UGC) Dr Ferdous Zaman was appointed as secretary (Additional In-charge) of the commission. The commission yesterday issued a press release in this regard signed by its director of Public Relations and Right to Information Division Dr AKM Shamsul Arefin. According to a decision of UGC, Dr Ferdous will serve as secretary (Additional In-charge) of the commission along with his directorship of Planning and Development division, said the release.
