Paying a tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of his birth centenary, a music video titled ‘Bangabandhu Manei Bangladesh’ has been produced featuring a song performed by six popular singers.

Along with seasoned artistes Ankhi Alamgir and Robi Chowhdury, four popular singers of the young generation, Tamanna Prome, Shwapnil shojib, Protic Hasan and Zhilik have lent their locals to the song. ‘Bangabandhu Manei Bangladesh’ tells the story of the emergence of Bangladesh from the historic March 7 speech of Bangabandhu.

With the lyric written by Robiul Islam Jibon, the song is tuned by Naved Parvez. The music video is directed by Soumitra Ghose Emon.

Under the direction of eminent dance artiste Anisul Islam Hero, the artistes of Srishti Cultural Centre have performed dance in the music video.

The music video will be telecast on national televisions and YouTube channel from today, the first day of Mujib Year.
