Marking the ‘Mujib Year’, the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Sanglap Group Theatre will stage a special show of its 26th production ‘Bodh’ at the Experimental Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) in Segun Bagicha of the capital on March 6.

Based on a story by Munshi Premchand, Swapan Das has dramatised the play while Mostafa Hira has directed the play. The story of the play revolves around a father-son duo who have been beaten down by life. Hunger has taken the humanity out of these two men and turned them animal-like.

The cast of the play includes Md Habibur Rahman, Tamanna Meher Popy, Shakil Ahmed, Mainul Islam, Masud Alam Babu and others
