Keramotia High School of Rangpur and Municipal School of Dinajpur won their respective final round matches of the Bangabandhu First Security Islami Bank National School Hockey competition held yesterday at Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.

In the day’s first match, Keramotia High School of Rangpur defeated Muslim Mission School of Faridpur by 2-1 goals. Mohammad Bishal and Ayan Mia scored one goal each in the 48th and 57th minutes respectively for the winners’ while Soyeb Mollah netted the lone goal for the losers in the 51st minute of the match.

In the day’s second match, Municipal School beat Navy School and College by 3-2 goals. In the proceeding, Chand Sharif scored a brace in the 32nd and 49th minutes after Faisal scored the other one goal in the very fourth minute for the Municipal.

On the other hand, Ruhul Amin Tushar and Siwab Shahriar netted one goal apiece for Navy in the 14th and 23rd minutes respectively.

Champions and runners-up teams from nine venues of the preliminary round are taking part in the final round competition, organised by Bangladesh Hockey Federation.
