Solasta launches for Bangladeshi youths

To meet the fashion need of the young, bright and resourceful generation of Bangladesh, Solasta—a home-bred world-class fashion brand in the country—just launched its vogue journey with the motto, ‘Be New, Be You’, said a press release.  

The grand launching ceremony of Solasta was held at the Utsav Banquet Hall of Hotel Radisson Blu Water Garden on Friday evening. The fashion brand Solasta is a sole endeavour of Modele Group, a 25-year-old globally acclaimed garments manufacturer and exporter of Bangladesh.

Eminent cultural personality and former cultural minister Asaduzzaman Noor attend the ceremony as the chief guest while BGMEA president Dr Rubana Huq was present as the special guest. A successive CIP certified entrepreneur, the mastermind and managing director of Modele Group, Masuduzzaman presided over the event.

Lauding the effort of Solasta, Asaduzzaman Noor in his speech said, “We have achieved a lot in terms of economic development, but we are yet to shine our image before the international audience. It’s time we rise up with our own brand with the tagline, Made in Bangladesh. I believe Solasta will fill in the blank space with their talent and commitment.”   

The launching ceremony featured an attractive fashion choreography by the popular theatre troupe Prachyanat showing the evolution of fashion-trend in Bangladesh, a dazzling ramp show led by top fashion stylist Azra Mahmood and musical soiree by popular band Chirkut.
