Cultural organisation Chhayanaut is arranging a classical dance festival this evening at its auditorium in the capital’s Dhanmondi area. The festival will feature Manipuri, Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Gaudiya and Odissi dance performances. The dance artistes of Chhayanaut, Academy for Manipuri Culture and Arts, Nrityam Nrityasheelon Kendra, Samina Hossain Prema, Babrul Alam Chowdhury and Dhrity Nrityalaya will perform Manipuri dance in the festival.

On the other hand, the artistes of Nritya Chhanda will perform Odissi, Rachel Priyanka Perris will perform Gaudiya dance, Rubasha Mariyama Khan, Arna Kamalika, Amit Chowdhury, Arthy Ahmed, artistes of Chhayanaut and Sristhi Cultural Centre will perform Bharatnatyam and Kathak Nritya Sampraday, Masum Hussain, Rewaz Performers’ School will present Kathak dance at the event.

The festival is free for all.
