Two Hollywood films 
hit Dhaka tomorrow

Two Hollywood films, ‘Dolittle’—directed by Stephen Gaghan and ‘Bad Boys for Life’—directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are set to hit he screens of two prominent multiplexes in Dhaka. Along with its US release, the films will be released tomorrow at all branches of Star Cineplex at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall, SKS Tower and Shimanto Shambhar and also at Blockbuster Cinemas of Jamuna Future Park in the capital.

From a screenplay by Gaghan, Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, and a story by Thomas Shepherd, the film ‘Dolittle’ is based on the character Doctor Dolittle created by Hugh Lofting, and primarily based on and more faithful to ‘The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle’. It is a reboot of the ‘Dr. Dolittle’ films,

Robert Downey Jr. stars as the title character, alongside Antonio Banderas and Michael Sheen in live action roles; the voice cast includes Emma Thompson, Rami Malek, John Cena, Kumail Nanjiani, Octavia Spencer, Tom Holland, Craig Robinson, Ralph Fiennes, Selena Gomez and Marion Cotillard.

On the other hand, starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, the sequel to ‘Bad Boys II’ (2003), the film ‘Bad Boys for Life’ is the third instalment in the Bad Boys trilogy. It follows detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett reuniting once again when a Romanian mob boss exacts revenge on the duo just as they are about to officially retire.

The film co-stars Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, Paola Núñez, Kate del Castillo, Nicky Jam, and Joe Pantoliano.
