Habiganj Zila Truck-Tank-Lorry workers union General Secretary Shajahan Mia, 55, was killed in a road accident in Kalimnagar area of Shaistaganj upazila of the district on Tuesday evening.

Police said the accident took place on the Habiganj-Shayestaganj highway while a speeding truck hit his motorbike from opposite direction, leaving him critically injured.
