Three people, who were arrested from different parts of Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila early Friday, where shown arrested yesterday in a murder case filed for the killing of Japanese citizen Hoshi Kunio, reports UNB. ABM Jahidul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kawnia Police Station, confirmed this to the news agency. Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the trio along with firearms and sharp weapons from different parts of Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila early Friday for their suspected involvement in the killing of Japanese citizen Hoshi Kunio.The arrestees were identified as Rajib Hossain Sumon, son of Hanif, Nawshad Hossain Rubel, son of Abdul Latif, and Kajal Chandra Barman, son of Bablu Chandra Barman, hailing from Rangpur district. Hoshi Kunio, 65, was shot to death by unknown assailants near his farmhouse at Kachu Alutary in Kaunia upazila on October 3.
