ournalists of Bhuapur Upazila of Tangail brought out a rally and formed a human chain protesting attack on journalists on Friday. They demanded to arrest the culprits, including main culprit Fazal Mondol, general secretary of  Govindasi union truckers association. Otherwise the journalists will take tougher action.

Speakers at the human chain condemned the attack and demanded immediate arrest of the attackers.    

On Thursday six persons including 4 journalists were injured by the attacks of the gamblers in Bhuapur Upazila of Tangail district when they went there to cover news on gambling.

The injured journalists are identified as DBC’s Tangail district correspondent Sohel Talukder, camera person Ashiqur Rahman, News 24.com and Itefaque’s correspondent Avijit Ghose, local correspondent of Dainik Ekuhser Bani Mohaimunil Mondol and two others.  Police, meanwhile arrested three gamblers on Thursday night. They are identified as Abdus Salam son of Noajesh Sheikh, Ramjan Ali son of Golam Mortuza of village Kagmari and Samad son of Mojibor Rahman of village Charnikla under Bhuapur Upazila. Police is trying to arrest the master maid Fazol Mondol and others till writing the report.
