Four policemen, including an additional police superintendent were injured in a clash between cop and Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal when JCD men attacked on cops in Bogura. At least police have arrested 14 Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal activists in the incident. Police claimed during the clash Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal activists tried to take away the arms of the policemen.    

The incident took place at Shahid Khokon Park area in Bogura city on yesterday noon around 12:30 pm. The injured policemen are- Bogura Sadar Circle Additional Superintendent of Police Sanatan Chakraborty, Assistant Deputy Inspector (ASI) Ashraful Islam, Constable Mamun and Parvez. The injured have received first aid at Bogura Mohammad Ali Hospital. Meanwhile, Constable Parvez, who was injured in the head, has been admitted to Bogura Police Lines Hospital. Police were deployed at various points in the city after the incident.

Additional Superintendent of Police of Sadar Circle Sanatan Chakraborty said, they were asked to step down sandals after seeing their feet at the Shaheed Minar. At that time they raided the police and tried to take away their arms.
