The New Year starts with a good news for Shakib Al Hasan as Bangladesh talisman is included in the Cricinfo’s ODI team of the decade. Cricinfo, the official website of ICC, named the ODI team of the decade yesterday.

No all rounder in last decade has more impact than Shakib Al Hasan. Be it with ball or bat, Shakib made his presence felt throughout all for the formats, especially in the 50 over format. His hard work paid off as he topped most of the chart of ICC rankings throughout this decade.

Notably, Shakib was also included in Wisden ODI team of the decade, which is known as the bible of cricket. Also, the all-rounder has made his place in many other reputed player of the year and team of the decade list all over the world.

Cricinfo’s ODI team of the Decade includes: Hasim Amla, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Ross Taylor, MS Dhoni, Shakib al Hasan, Trent Boult, Mitchell Starc, Lasith Malinga and Imran Tahir.
