Police arrested female vice-chairman of Chitalamri upazila, Runa Gazi, from her house at Bakkhagathi village on Thursday night, reports UNB. Tipped off that Runa, also president of upazila unit of Mahila Dal, was planning to carry out subversive activities, a team of police conducted a raid on her house and arrested her, said OC of Chitalmari Police Station M Rabiul Islam.
