RAJSHAHI:  Speakers at a seminar said the youth forces should come forward towards attaining IT knowledge under 'Learning and Earning Training Programme' to earn money from online outsourcing for becoming themselves as economically self-reliant, reports BSS. They viewed any person would be able to earn foreign currency by getting training on on-line outsourcing issues as many trained youths are earning handsome amount from the outsourcing sector. The observations came in a seminar titled "Outsourcing Potentialities and Our Responsibilities" held in Master Chef Restaurant in Rajshahi city On Wednesday. Multitech and Creative IT organised the seminar. Mayor-in-Charge of Rajshahi City Corporation Nizam Ul Azim and Prof Dr Abu Raihan Ahmed Siddiqui from Computer Science and Technology Department of Rajshahi University addressed the seminar as chief and special guests respectively with Md Asaduzzaman, local unit director of Multitech and Creative IT, in the chair. Chairman of the organisation Munir Hossain and Designer Shahadat Hossain also spoke. Mayor Nizam Ul Azim says the government is extending all-out supports to impart IT literacy to students under the 'Learning and Earning Training Programme' aiming to earn money from online outsourcing. He adds the government is implementing the programme across the country to create opportunities for earning foreign currency through online outsourcing. "Freelancing is an extremely prospective sector worldwide and now it is getting popularity in our country," Azim said. He told the meeting that a hi-tech park is going to be established in the city with a view to achieving a set of specific mission and vision of establishing a world class business environment for targeted high growth industrial sector and new business. In addition to develop indigenous technological capability for the development of the local industries the park will help entering into foreignmarkets by exporting state of the art technology products.
